Mitch Murphy is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in applied mathematics and statistics, and has recently completed his M.B.A. at the Carleton University's Sprott School of Business, with the thesis title "Nonlinear Financial Time Series Analysis using Multivariate Orthogonal Polynomials".
Mitch is currently teaching Introduction to Statistical Modeling II at Carleton University. He also provides statistical consulting to private firms and government departments. His latest client is the Pollution Data Branch of Environment Canada on the topic of "Uncertainty Analysis of Criteria Air Contaminants from Mobile Sources".
Born and raised in Laval, Quebec, and university-educated in Ottawa, Ontario, Mitch can communicate comfortably in both official languages.
